Is bourbon beef "grain finished"?
Yes, our cattle are pasture raised and grain finished. Our cattle are always well fed, watered, and cared for. They have access to city water and eat a healthy diet of grass and hay their entire lives. For 90-100 days, they get an abundance of their favorite - a mixture of corn, grains, and minerals. This diverse diet not only ensures our cattle are happy, but results in a final product we are proud to serve.
Are your cattle antibiotic and hormone free?
Yes, our cattle are raised antibiotic and hormone free.
What kind of cattle are raised on the farm?
​Our cattle herd consists mainly of Black Angus, with some Hereford and Simmental influence. These varieties make a flavorful product we are proud to share.
